These terms and conditions apply to the virtual event described on the booking confirmation (each an “Event”) provided by Our Media a company registered in England and Wales under company number 05715415, with our registered office and main trading address at Eagle House, Colston Avenue, Bristol, England BS1 4ST, (“we”, “us” or “Our Media”).
When you book to attend any of our events, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should read these terms and conditions carefully before making a booking. We recommend that you save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
1.Booking and Payment
1.1 Submitting a booking for the Event is a request to attend, not a confirmation. We’ll accept your booking request once we send a written confirmation email with the access details needed to attend the Event. Please ensure you provide a valid email address, as that’s how we’ll send your confirmation.
1.2 Once you receive your booking confirmation and ticket, please review these carefully. While we’ll make every effort to fix any mistakes, we can’t guarantee all errors can be corrected after purchase.
1.3 The listed price on our website is the Event price, unless there’s an obvious error.
1.4 By submitting a booking for an event, you warrant that:
1.4.1 you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
1.4.2 you are at least 18 years old; and
1.4.3 you have a credit or debit card that we accept and you have been authorised to use such credit or debit card (e.g. it is in your name or you have permission to use it).
1.5 Full payment is required when we accept your booking.
1.6 Payment can only be made by credit or debit card. Cash or cheques will not be accepted.
1.7 We may limit the number of tickets one person can buy. We reserve the right to cancel bookings exceeding the per-person ticket allocation.
1.8 All bookings are non-transferable and cannot be resold commercially. You must not share, sell or otherwise make available to any other person the link, password and/or other access details we may provide you to enable you to attend the Event. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or account identifiers by others.
1.9 We reserve the right to refuse an application for access to the Event.
2. Internet Service Disruptions
2.1 We aim to provide a quality experience, but you acknowledge potential disruptions due to technology issues beyond our control. In the unlikely event of a significant service disruption during a live Event, we will make reasonable commercial efforts to rectify the issue or provide an alternative solution, which may include:
2.1.1 Providing access to a recorded video of the Event, if available; or
2.1.2 Rescheduling the Event, subject to availability.
2.2 No refunds will be issued for minor, temporary service disruptions that are typical of live streaming and do not materially impair the overall lecture experience.
2.3 We advise ensuring you have a stable internet connection before attending the Event. We cannot be held responsible for disruptions caused by your internet service provider or technical issues on your end.
2.4 Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this clause.
3. Cancellations, Refund and Changes to the Event
3.1 Our Media reserve the right to cancel the Event or make changes to the date, time and/or content of the Event in circumstances beyond its reasonable control without any obligation to make any refunds or exchange tickets.
3.2 If the Event is cancelled by Our Media, we will notify you as soon as possible and (except as set out in section 3.1 above) refund the amount paid by you for the event.
3.3 If we have to change the date or time of the Event or replace a speaker, we will notify you as soon as possible and your booking will be transferred or updated to reflect the new time and/or date. We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that any replacement speaker has similar expertise to the one advertised (although the title of the Event may change).
3.4 No refund will be given if the time of the Event changes or if we replace the speaker. Subject to the provisions outlined in clause 2, a refund will only be offered if the date of the Event is changed, and you make an explicit request for a refund.
3.5 Once a booking is completed and confirmed by us, we will not offer any refund to you should you decide not to attend the Event. Bookings for the Event cannot be transferred to another event or to another date for the same Event.

5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 We are not responsible for any:

5.1.2 loss or damage which results from breach by you of any of these terms and conditions or your negligence;
5.1.3 losses not caused by our breach;
5.1.4 loss of profits or other consequential, indirect or incidental losses;

5.2 We exclude our liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss or damage occurring to any attendee arising from his or her attending the Event.
5.3 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Our Media its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including, but not limited to, legal fees and expenses, arising out of a breach by you (or any user of your account) of your obligations, representation and/or warranties under these terms and conditions.
5.4 Except as stated above in this section 5, Our Media’s total liability to you is limited to the fee you have paid for the Event.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All materials including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, photographs, audio, videos and all other materials which form part of the event are protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such intellectual property rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, adapt, edit or otherwise exploit such materials or infringe the copyright, trade mark, moral rights or other rights of Our Media or any third party.
7. General
7.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, if we deem this necessary, for example to reflect changes in relevant laws or regulatory requirements.
7.2 If at any time one or more provisions contained in these terms and conditions is, or becomes, invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, this shall not affect the validity, legality or enforceability of the remaining provisions which shall remain in full force and effect.
